Canyon De Chelly National Monument is located in the middle of the Navajo Nation. The Navajo work in conjunction with the National Park System to allow visitors a glimpse into ancient ruins of the Anasazi. I visited the park on a gorgeous day in January and found the views and hikes breathtaking. The park is scattered with ruins built by the Anasazi between 300-1300A.D.
