*first i would like to apologize for the hiatus. i recently moved and have a nightmarish experience with time warner trying to get cable. i have be saving my blogs everyday for the past week just waiting to post. so here they are! =)
i want to start sharing some things that inspire me. whether it be an object, product, website, or whatever. i would like to make this a weekly thing.
first up: etsy
oh etsy, i have been in love with you for quite a while. for those that have been living under a rock and are unaware of what etsy is =) it is a website dedicated to selling everything and anything handmade. anyone can open up their own shop and sell whatever they would like as long as it falls into three categories:
1. handmade
2. vintage (over 20 years old)
3. supplies for creating your own home made goods.
Below is a picture of some business cards i had made awhile back. they are gocco printed (a form of screen printing) on wood. they were made by Keli of Colette Paperie. I have received so many compliments about them and simply loved them. I currently have new cards in the works from another etsy artist with a whole different twist and will post those once created. =)
