Aaron and I were unable to be together for valentines day due to my trip to San Diego but that didn't stop him from remembering me on valentines day. These gorgeous flowers showed up on my doorstep late Saturday afternoon. =)

I love photographing roads especially small ones in the middle of nowhere. The problem is that I sometimes forget the exact location in the photograph. This was taken somewhere in New Mexico.

sometimes, I get up early.
I am in love with dresses. The brighter and funkier the better. The dress below has become my new favorite, half because of the style and half the history. This dress was custom made for me, by my dear friend Jennafer Grace, out of an old dress of my grandmother's (the original dress was a long white muumuu like thing). Jen went to work adding colorful accents and fun details and soon I was in love. I cannot wait for the summer to show it off!

I love art supplies way more than any person should. =) There are so many mediums that I would love to try, or explore further in the coming years. Some independent of photography, but many incorporated into my photographic works somehow.
I took this picture on our lake a couple weeks back. It was snowing fairly heavy and I was wondering around enjoying the site.
I have a thing for small back country roads. I love how worn and imperfect they are. These are the kinds of roads that I go out of my way to take when traveling throughout the country; given I do not have to make it somewhere in a timely fashion. =)
i simply cannot wait to explore the woods nearby. i was only able to go for a quick peek today before sunset as I spent the majority of the day waiting for the cable guy.
