Yesterday, I was so excited to receive the Save the Dates for the wedding of Natalie and Robbie next year. Not only will the be having the wedding up near Mammoth Mountain but a second reception here in San Diego as well. I am in love with this little card. Just the time it took to sew all of the papers together and create socks as well; it rocks!

"too blessed to be stressed"

A motto my uncle lived by. Due to tragic circumstances, my amazing Uncle Rich James passed away last Monday. I was not only shocked but deeply saddened to hear the news while up in San Francisco. He was an amazing artist and world traveler that lived for the moment and enjoyed everyday. He was huge in the Ocean Beach community, and along with his brothers, did great things for the little beach town. A site has been built in his honor at:
Here stories can be found about his life as well as a link to his artwork.
There was a nice article in the Union Tribune yesterday as well as the Beacon.
Rich touched many people's lives and will never be forgotten.

Much Love my dear Uncle. =)

I had the opportunity to meet up with my good friend Elizabeth and her long time boyfriend Allan. It was her birthday and they were celebrating with lunch at the Prado. I headed out for my photographer portrait trade a couple hours early and was able to meet up with them to snap a few birthday photographs. Here are my favs.

Today I got together with some fellow photogs and went out for a fun day of shooting. We headed to one of my favorites spots on San Diego taking full advantage of the spring colors. Here are a couple teasers; more fun ones to come.

Here are a couple more photographs from Hawaii. I knew the water in Hawaii was going to be crystal blue but I never thought it would be as amazing as it was.
I have also included two portraits; one of my boyfriend and one of his younger brother. They lost their father on Kauai last year and so we took a moment of reflection at Waimea Canyon to commemorate their trip with their father the previous year. These photographs capture the air of the moment perfectly.

More to come soon hopefully. =)

I headed up to Palm Springs with Susan and Nely for a Trash the Dress shoot this past Sunday. While cruising down Highway 60, we were all overcome with excitement at the sight of lush green hills. We all looked at each other and knew it was time for an impromptu photo shoot. I hopped in a wedding dress that I had from a past Halloween and took off for the hills singing "The Sound of Music." Here are some shots Susan got of me.

I was wondering why my blog had yet to receive any comments when I use to get a steady stream of them with the old blog. Thanks to Nely for bringing the problem to my attention. Comments can now be left and registration is not necessary.
